Porter connects Customers who need help with approved Porters who can complete tasks. We are a marketplace platform. Unless explicitly stated, Porter is not the employer of Porters.
Customers
Post tasks, communicate, and pay through Porter checkout on the platform.
Porters
Accept tasks, complete work professionally, and receive payouts.
Trust & Safety
Verification, dispute handling, and policy enforcement for safer outcomes.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account.
- We may require verification to access certain features.
3. Posting & Accepting Tasks
- Customers must post tasks accurately (scope, location, schedule, and any requirements).
- Porters should accept tasks only when they can complete them safely and professionally.
- Any off-platform payment or communications intended to bypass fees are prohibited.
4. Payments, Fees & Payouts
Customers pay through the platform. Porter payouts and platform fees may apply. See Pricing & Fees for details.
5. Prohibited Conduct
- Fraud, harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour.
- Posting illegal tasks or requests that violate our policies.
- Attempting to access data you do not have permission to access.
6. Disputes & Refunds
If an issue arises, use our Support & Disputes process. We may investigate and apply outcomes including refunds, credits, adjustments, or account actions as appropriate.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Porter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post updates on this page. Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
